2018-2021        President, Treasurer, & Secretary – BGSU Clay Club, Bowling Green, OH

As president, lead meetings, organized group activities, kiln firings, and sales.

As secretary, recorded all meetings, acted as liaison between student body, faculty, and art director. As treasurer, handled all monetary expenses and exchanges, requested equipment, wrote proposals and grants,

2019 Project Leader - Empty Bowls: Artists vs Hunger, Bowling Green, OH

Organized and assisted in the production of over 300 hand-made bowls to donate to Brown Bag Food Project in order to raise money and awareness on food insecurity in Wood County.

2022-24              Volunteer - Empty Bowls, Wichita, KS

  Donated Bowls and assisted with distributing bowls to community members.

 

CERAMICS SKILLS

Operating and firing electric, gas, soda, salt, and wood kilns / Raku and Pit firings / Making clay from reclaim and scratch / glaze formulation / Hand building: coil, slab, and extruder / Pottery wheel: kick wheels and electric / Plaster molds: slump & hump molds, single part molds.

 

SCULPTURE SKILLS

Woodworking / Comfortable using wide variety of power tools / Limited lathe experience / Resin and other wood finishes / Metalworking / Welding using MIG / Oxy Acetylene Torch / Iron, Aluminum, and Bronze pour experience
